You're So Vain

I know my family is going to laugh at this, but out of the headshots which ones are your top choices? When you order headshots you have to order in large bulk -- 75-250 at a time. I want to get the one that most accurately portrays me so I thought I would take a survey. No, I am not being vain, but yes, I do need some help deciding. If you want to, let me know which ones you like best on the comment section. Otherwise, just laugh and think I am too old to be doing stuff like this. I am! Haha. Tres' headshots are great, and if he needs help deciding I will post his too. Maybe I will just post them to show him off. :)

Grand Opening

I haven't posted for awhile so I thought I may need to update the world as to what we are doing. I am in Georgia, and Tres is in California. I was officially part of the first ever Legacy Theatre Cast which has been fun. We opened the show this week, and I think the crowds have received it quite well which has been exciting for us. I love our cast. There are only four of us in it. Melissa is the other girl, and I think she is great. She has a dynamic voice, and she is so sweet. She is married which is neat for me because I have never worked with another married woman since I have been married. We have alot to talk about. Then there is Dustin who is in the middle of the two of us girls. He is hysterical and plays an Elvis/Santa in the show which the crowd loves. He is Bethany's (the owner of the theatre) best friend and staying at the same place I am so we have gotten to know each other pretty well. David White is the other guy, and I am a huge fan of his voice!!! He is a high tenor. He is also one of the nicest people I have ever met. The cast is so fun, and we all get along great. That is my life in a nutshell. I know alot of you aren't interested in all these people, but Tres and I are trying to keep each other updated on the people in our lives right now so these pics are for him to put faces with names now. I will try and update more later.

Now That We're Living Separate Lives

Tres and I have been apart almost a week now. I am currently in rehearsals for a show in Georgia, and Tres is in Kentucky, leaving on Saturday for California. The rehearsals were going well until I got sick. My voice is gone at the moment, and I have a horrible cough. Hopefully, it will clear up in ten days -- that is opening day of the show. Tres has been having fun at home visiting with his family and some friends in that area. We went to Abingdon, Virginia, last week for a little "getaway" which was nice. We had a great time just being together. After being together everyday for almost three years, I have a feeling this is going to be hard on us. I am already missing him like crazy. We email and talk every day. I will post some pics soon of where I am staying and my cast. They are great. The theatre is being built right now, and it is going to be very nice. Until then, I hope all are doing well and enjoy the person you have to do life with. :)

Time for Tutor Key

I, Tres, have once again taken over for one posting only while Amanda is in Atlanta. Let me just say, before I start this post, I really really miss her. I have, however, had a great weekend with my mom's family. This was her birthday weekend and the entire family was in. Even though it was her birthday, the star of the "show" was my little cousin Blake. He is super cute and really sweet. He is also super smart and, at times, makes me feel intellectually inadequate. He modeled his halloween costume for us and I think he makes a great Spider-Man. Spider-Man is his favorite super-hero. He was mine too and I had the exact same costume once. He and I are pals. The one picture is of me, my mom, and my grandmother, who loved having everyone under the same roof for a while. We all had a great time celebrating mom's birthday together.

Our Final Week

Ok. So we decided to post some pics of us in action. It was our final week of workshops, and while we really enjoy them, we were glad they were coming to an end. I think we miss performing pretty badly when we are teaching people how to do it. I put some pics of Tres and I teaching. Not sure anyone will really be interested but just in case. Also, I put a picture of Alex Lester who was in our workshop and is just hilarious. He did a cameo shot for us. We also included pics of our advanced acting workshop kids. They are always a treat to work with, talented, and just great kids. Then there is Theresa Lester and her family. She is Alex's mom, as well as a teacher at one of the schools we went to. She is a hoot and will kill us for posting her pics on here, but we couldn't resist. That is about all. We will miss Prestonsburg and our "family" there -- the Mays. I am now headed to Georgia to do a show, and Tres will spend some time with his mom's family. Hope everyone is great.

In Poca

While Tres was enjoying time with his brother and in Chicago, I spent the week in Poca with my parents. It was a blast. Mom and I got massages, cleaned, shopped around. It was just like we like it. :) I also got to see alot of family and friends I had been wanting to visit during that time. Tres got in just in time -- I was having husband withdrawl. The next day my sister and family came in from Germany -- for good. She has moved back to the USA and her husband will shortly be here for good. I loved Germany but am glad that they are closer. No more European backpacking trips though. :( My cousin TJ and his dad JR went with us to pick up Meg, Joe, and the kids. He loves being with Tres. I think they have a bond because they were both preemies. Here are some pics from that weekend. Oh, and one of me and my daddy. We are both alike -- stubborn -- and have our disagreements, but he is still my hero ( other than my husband :)
