Mischievous Monks

Meteora had some great hiking so we took advantage despite the hot sun. The views were stunning. What an amazing country Greece is! We stumbled upon a cave in the rocks during our hike. We found out later it used to be a sort of monk prison. A place they went when they had sinned to serve a sort of pentence. We explored but not too far. I was a bit afraid of snakes and scorpions. We also walked around the village after the hike. The grapes were a shot of what we thought captured the true essence of Greece. They are grown at every household and business. This was definitely one of our favorite stops on our trip. It was one we will never forget.
