Some Last Hoorahs!

This week officially begins my last week in Wytheville. The contract has been nothing but fun, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my cast. Unfortunately, in theatre goodbyes are inevitable. This past week, the King and I cast arrived and settled in to the cast house. Diego is a newbie, and we all immediately connected with him. He's similar to my friend Tim -- extremely likable. On Saturday, we decided to go for a hike to a place called High Rocks.. and take my friend Jessica's dog -- Homestar Runner. I love this dog, and I must admit my Subaru looked complete with him in the back. (The farthest part back, dad. Don't worry. ) Some friends ended up joining us on the hike, and by the end, Diego, Will, and I were looking over all of Wytheville. It was gorgeous.

I have a feeling this will be part of my life in ten years. (Yes, Lori, this is the pic. haha)

The new cast is lots of fun, and apparently, Marissa and I's room was the place to be the other night. Diego had my violin (Olevia's) and toured the house fiddling for all 14 occupants. Fang (pictured above) had just arrived from Cincy and was observing closely. He must love fiddling because he shortly joined the gathering. Marissa and Diego posing as a happy couple.

And in the case of concern, "Sweet Secrets" night is still on. Katie from the new cast has become a part of the nights. She is a great girl that we immediately clicked with, making her our first official initiatory member. This night was a movie and no-bake cookies.
