Big Walker Mountain

Big Walker Lookout. The steps are good exercise!

We had a day off today so my friend Tiffy and I went to Big Walker Mountain. They say if you go to the top of the lookout there you can see five different states.
After journeying to the top, I must say I have no clue if we saw five or one, but the view was gorgeous.
We ended up doing a short hike to a nice overlook as well. The country store there was locally owned with great finds such as Milky Way Bread, fudge, and herbal soaps and creams by a local lady using local herbs. We ended up getting some of the bread and sitting outside reading and enjoying the view.
Tiffy and I enjoying the day
How many swinging bridges does this make for me?

We had a great day in Wytheville and are looking forward to new experiences around this area. Great company and scenic beauty made for a great day off work! By the way, I the Appalachian Trail is here, and I have two weeks off in May. Do I have any takers?
