New Month, New State

"Give our Regards to Broadway" cast

Tiffy and I -- reunited in VA!!!

My friend Christian and I posing

Dad and I -- bellies full --after one of mom's great meals.

It was brought to my attention by many friends that it's time to update. My sister has even beat me! Sadly, I left Georgia, my friends, and my job on Feb. 22 and traveled to Wytheville, Virginia, to embark on another theatre journey. Rehearsals started on Feb. 23 so the break was brief, to say the least. Matt and Shane from my Wisconsin cast were already at the theatre and much to my delight, my friend Tiffany, from my Miss Nelson cast, was cast in this show. We jumped headfirst into choreography and music and didn't stop until opening day. The cast immediately gelled so rehearsals were virtually painfree. One long rehearsal day, our director stopped us and said, "We are going to the winery." So we packed up and headed to Wytheville's exclusive winery. It was really nice, and they gave us a tasting and a tour. It was a great time for us to talk, get to know one another, and take a break from learning! We opened the show two weeks ago, and the response has been great.

The other advantage of this contract is it's proximity to Charleston -- two hours. I have been able to go home for the last two weeks!!!! It is so nice to be able to spend time with my family. I've seen my cousins, grandma, Jim and Patti K, and lots of time with mom and dad. I truly couldn't ask for anything more.
The running has subsided since I arrived in Virginia, mostly because of the busy schedule and cold weather. Hopefully, I will start it up again.... now that I have a GPS watch!!! It's a long story, but I have one, and I absolutely love it.
Also for any tea lover's, I recommend Stash's Peach Black Tea. My cousin Olevia shared it, and it is AMAZING!
