Fairs, Focaccia, and Farce

My friend Kristy and I hit the annual county fair here last week. We had a blast riding rides and catching up on life. This pic is from the top of the ferris wheel. She is afraid of heights so I was really proud of her for getting on the ride.

That night I made focaccia bread for the first time. It turned out great. Mom and Meg, this pic is for the two of you. I have been playing a nerdy character on the little stage here. The kids seem to like it which makes it so much fun! These pics are for Maggie Mae, Owen, and TJ.
The job has been keeping me busy so I haven't had much time to bike and take photos of the town. Here is a pic of the lake that is literally one minute away from my place. It is nice and peaceful -- a great place to write. Columbus is quite close to me so I have made the trip once and plan to revisit often (for you, Valerie!) There is a Cheesecake Factory so, of course, I had to try it. David had never visited one until a month ago! He loved it so much that we've been back a second time already. Here he is trying his first "Factory Cheesecake". It was love at first bite. Yes, that one was for you, David. Sorry this entry is more informative than colorful. My first entry was erased because my computer shut down! I plan to post more pics soon. For now, I am off to bed.
