Yardsales and Lazy Sunday Afternoons

Recently, I experienced my first yardsale. My parent's street was hosting one so I decided to participate. It was a fun experience, and I enjoyed the money made. :) Tab (a neighbor and friend) came over with her baby Emma and sat with us for awhile. Emma did great and didn't cry the whole time. My Uncle Jim participated and was selling his much desired stock items. Plus, I got some sun from sitting there all day which I never mind. Making money while tanning simultaneously is always my idea of a good time! The next day mom, dad, and I sat outside after Sunday dinner and just hung out. We had a great time talking and laughing. Being back with them has been a really great experience for me, and I feel so blessed to have parents I enjoy so much. The memories I have from being here at this time are rare for a person my age, and while the situation is not what I wanted, God is making the outcome nicer than expected. Lazy Sunday afternoons are the best, and I even found a sombrero for mom to shade the sun. We laughed so hard at her in it. We spent a good part of that afternoon dueling over BOP-IT -- an old game. Mom was the champ. I'm relearning alot about myself at this time. One of the biggest things is how much every minute counts and to experience the people surrounding you to the fullest. The enhancement that usually comes is well-worth the time invested. I enjoyed that weekend wholeheartedly and hope my life is made up of many more similar to that.

I belive I see 6 articles of clothing that once belonged to me in that first photo. I can't belive you sold my guess skirt. I recall dishing out 50 bucks for it for my senior pictures because mom thought it was way too much for a skirt. Maggie about died when she saw her playhouse in the background of the pic of you and dad. She said she has to get to mimi and Ja Ja's soon. Looks like you guys are having fun, miss you guys tons! I am sure we'll be seeing you soon though.
PICS OF THE KITCHEN!
