Pisa -- part 2

After spending the morning at the leaning tower, we, along with two of our friends, rented bikes and explored Pisa. Talk about the most daring/dangerous thing I have ever done. In order to get out of town, we had to ride through town. Unfortunately, I was not aware that in Europe bikers ride along side the cars, buses, and 18 wheelers. My aunt Barb would have been a nervous wreck. We rode all through town. Tres loved it. I yelled quite a few times at him and anyone else around. Did any of you know, Pisa has not one but two leaning towers. We rode to the other one and then past into vineyards and toward the mountains. Our leader was like freakin' Lance Armstrong and kept us going. We ended up cycling for 31/2 hours straight! That is with no lunch! We found the first available restaurant once we got back into town -- right by the Leaning Tower. Tres was obviously very hungry seeing that there was no trace of the calzone left after dinner. We also topped the evening off with some ice cream.
