Capri, Italy

Our ship went to Sorrento, Italy, but I had done a little research, and we ended up going to an island over called Capri. It was beautiful and so fun. We hiked straight up the mountain into the city. Talk about a workout. Two and a half miles straight up! Then we took a bus down to an amazing beach. Tres and I jumped off rocks, swam in coves, and swam with tons of little jellyfish. The water was a little cold but completely clear. The beaches are strange here -- no sand, just rocks. We had a great day and of course, topped it off with ice cream. Our whole dinner that day was ice cream and fresh squeezed lemon drinks! We are definitely unhealthy here. There were ruins here, but all of Europe is full of ruins. It was the island or Pompeii, and we chose the island. Go figure. As Tres says, after looking at so many ruins, they all start looking the same :)
