The Stages
So, everyone says grief comes in different stages. I have definitely hit the anger stage. Here is the scenario.
Amanda & Tres meet : Tres has = $ 70, Amanda has = $3,500 (just savings)
Amanda & Tres marry: Tres = $40, 000 debt, Amanda = $15,000 debt
Tres leaves Amanda: Tres = no debt, Amanda = $4, 000 debt
After marriage: Tres = $40 K paid off, Amanda= $11 K paid off
Splitting of money: Tres = gets equal split, Amanda = no make up for debt payoff
Now:
Tres = great choice to marry
Amanda= stupid choice to marry

Amanda, although it may not seem like it now. You are alway going to be a winner and Tres will always be a snake in the grass loser. He obviously has deep psychological issues and needs help. Be thankful that you're washing your hands of him now before he could bring you down more.
Your pictures are just great! (guess I was a little behind) I loved seeing Debbie and Patti K on the cruise and of course the other family pics. The face shots by John are incredible.
And I love you sharing your anger. Anger is not right or wrong, it's just another one of our human emotions. So be angry and keep traveling on through it. You are great and you are going to make it.
Amanda, I am getting caught up today on blogs (Samuel has a new entry too). And I noticed your January 25 angry entry on myspace. You say there what I said in my comment here, you are just so on top of it all. And I appreciate your interpretation of "my best friend's anger response" -- that is just good information for me to know! So if I make your mom mad perhaps I should I wear turtle necks when I walk?

You are SO much the better choice. Don't ever put yourself down. I am sure you are hurt and very very angry right now. I won't pretend to understand what you're feeling. But I do know how hurt and anger feel. And you are entitled to it. And like I said before, we are so proud of the lady you are. We love you more than you'll ever know and we will always have your back.
