Walkin' on Water

Today Amanda and I (this is Tres by the way), in an attempt to be more like Jesus, decided to venture out into the wilderness and walked on water! Really, we did! Okay...so the water was frozen, but we walked on it nonetheless. It was pretty amazing. The "Lake" part of Lake Geneva was almost completely frozen over. We decided not to walk on the unfrozen part of the water and stuck close to the ice fisherman. I attempted to ice fish without a pole as you will see in one of the pictures, but my quandry turned out fruitless. We also made one final stop at our favorite food establishment....."The Global Gourmet"....free samples....all day long....need I say more? We've had a great time the past two days just watching movies, eating cookie-dough, sleeping, ringing in the new year, and going to the spa. Amanda got a mineral bath today and boy did she need it. The smell was a little out of control! I'm kidding. She always smells lovely!
We leave Lake Geneva and the state of Wisconsin (we'll miss the cheese) tomorrow and next we're off to visit Maggie and Owen. We can't wait to see them. Our job here was fun, but we're ready to chill for a while. Happy New Year to everyone!

It was much warmer here. Mimi and I just walked three miles in light jackets and it was nice. It chills me to see Tres' hand in the ice water, burr. Good idea to show us your home sweet home! That was nice. Did you have secret hiding places there?
Enjoy your time with the Burkes!
Hey! You guys look great! Paulette and I had a good time looking at your pics. Amanda, you grew your hair out...nice look. Tres, how bout we agree that you wear the bear mask 24/7?
Your friends,
Bruce and Paulette
Hey,
I am sure glad when I want fish for dinner I don't have to cut a hole in the ice and catch it. *L* looks way to cold for me.

Hey Guys - This is a great way to see you beautiful people. I'm glad you choose the cruise. I think seeing the world now (before little Owens & Maggies come along)would be wonderful - you know that was my choice all along and what a bargain price. V loved looking at the pictures. She misses you and so do we - hope to see you during your break - there's always a bedroom here with your names on it!!!
I'll be watching.
